Hi there Jason,

Great to hear that the best rhythm section in rock are recording together. I can't get myspace to work at the moment but can't wait to here the stuff you've been doing. So, this EP... where and when and what? Hope I'm able to get it over here. Are you two still playing with the FF? Really enjoyed the live LP you mixed. Hope all's good with you.

Best wishes from Paris.

Ben

Carlos... Thanks for checking these out!!!!
Working on arrangements and words right now...
Ummm... when you say "non mp3's" are you refering to just higher quality files or a physical CD?

If you indeed ARE talking about better files, what format do you like?

1.ogg
2.flac
3.wavpack
4.aac / m4a
5.wav
6. other (please tell me what)

when these are finished, im gonna release them in several formats...
Physical (CD's) and several flavors of lossy and lossless audio...

Would be good for me to know what people use... I like .ogg / .flac myself, and I archive studio projects in wavpack... But thats me

Maybe I will set up a poll if I can figure that out...

Thanks again, Jake

The tracks sound great, Jason. Including the drums! I love Om and this ticks lots of boxes for me. Thanks for sharing them. As far as file types, I like .flac too. You can always convert it to mp3 using freeware if you want to stick stuff on yr ipod. That and vinyl of course. Now that is my favourite. Thanks again,
ben

So behind the digi-times. Gyyyaaahhh!!!

Now with lyrics? Well my goodness. I suppose I have to toddle over and listen again now. *Harumph*

And hea'ven he'p me - "Circle Of Buzzards?" Easily in the Top Ten Most Amusing Band Names Of All Time.

Abbreviated - "C.O.B." Yep. Luv it.

Wow. Great! I really like Realizing Emptiness. I listened three times in a row already.

If I'm not too busy (my life is chaotic at the moment), I'll try and make that show in Brooklyn. Is the venue hard to find?

Wow...
That would be GREAT... would be great to see you again!

The venue is really close to the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg bridge...
@ 256 Grand St between Driggs and Roebling, and right near the Metropolitan Ave exit on the BQE... Pretty easy really!

My pals, the Empire State Troopers set this gig up and they totally rock!!!

I have former students who now live in Brooklyn and/or go to NYU (and are in bands). Anyway, I think I might get some of them to go to the show. I emailed them a link to your myspace. They're nice boys, although they still call me Ms.___________ instead of my first name and they're 21-25 years old!

Any chance of bringing Buzzards down south? Or any other Jake-related project for that matter...

Are you guys thinking of adding some guitar to the COB?
Or is it designed to stay a drumnbass marriage of convenience?

nice work Jake & Bob !

That second song has a very godheadSILO feel to it. Always nice to hear a fuzzed out Rickenbacker.
